Ho Chi Minh City, March 20, 2026 – Hong Anh Healthcare Group successfully organised the Opening Ceremony of the Hong Anh Health Innovation Institute alongside the Agreement Signing Ceremony with HekaBio K.K. (Japan). The event marks a groundbreaking step forward in bringing the world’s most advanced medical and biotechnological solutions to serve the people of Vietnam.

The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the presence of representatives from the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The event was also honored to welcome leading medical experts and scientists, notably featuring Professor Brendon Noble. In particular, the ceremony highlighted the close collaboration of international strategic partners, including HekaBio Group (Japan), Modality Partnership, and Real Capital London (United Kingdom), alongside representatives from financial institutions, major domestic and international enterprises, and the entire staff, partners, and clients who have accompanied Hong Anh Healthcare Group over the years.
The Event Highlighted Two Major Milestones for Hong Anh:
Launch of the Hong Anh Health Innovation Institute: The Institute was established with a clear mission to serve as a hub for groundbreaking ideas, cutting-edge medical technologies, and passionate research talent. It acts as a bridge connecting basic scientific research, clinical application development, and practical technology transfer into comprehensive community healthcare. Furthermore, it serves as an international-standard training centre for medical personnel and researchers, equipping them to address current and future healthcare challenges such as chronic disease management, population ageing, precision medicine, and artificial intelligence in healthcare. To fulfil this mission, the Institute will focus on key areas including: Regenerative Medicine, Stem Cells, Brain Health, and the Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data in Early Diagnosis.
Strategic Partnership Agreement with HekaBio: This agreement officially opens up collaborative opportunities between Vietnam and Japan regarding healthcare innovation and initiatives. Today, HekaBio introduced two new initiatives: Alpha DaRT alpha-radiation therapy, offering high efficacy for head and neck cancer patients, and advanced NKGen cell therapy (SNK01), designed for the prevention and adjunctive treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.
